About the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG:
The CUET (UG) is a mandatory test for taking admission into undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs offered by the Central Universities (University of Delhi, JNU, Aligarh Muslim University, BHU, Jamia Milia Islamia, etc.). These universities used to offer admission into these programs on the basis of class 12 marks or their own entrance test or a combination of these two till last year (2021).
In fact, many state universities (Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi, Jiwaji University Gwalior, etc.), Deemed Universities (TISS, NRTI Vadodara, etc.) as well as private universities (SRM University, Galgotias University, BML Munjal University, Bennett University, etc.) have also accepted the CUET (UG) as the entrance for their undergraduate programs.
This test will be conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency) in Computer Based mode. There are as many as 61 tests within the CUET of which an individual may take a maximum of 9 tests.
